Wolf Parade Are Back, Announce Residency Shows in NYC, Toronto & London, Tickets on Sale Now
After all the hullabaloo yesterday about how Wolf Parade had updated their website and launched new Twitter and Instagram accounts, news comes that the band have indeed reunited after a 5-year hiatus and will be playing a series of residency shows in North America and the UK for 2016. The shows are taking place in New York at Bowery Ballroom (May 17-21), Toronto at Lee’s Place (May 24-26) and London at Scala (June 14-15) and tickets are available now through wolfparade.com (if the ticket link on the site sends you to the Ticketmaster website, the password is: WOLFPARADE). Here’s what the band had to say about the reunion:
“Hey-o everyone, the hiatus is over! We’re very excited to get back on stage together at these residency shows in NYC, Toronto, and London. The group, which is comprised of Spencer Krug, Dan Boeckner, Arlen Thompson, and Dante DeCaro, formed in Montreal in 2004 and released three albums for Sub Pop – Apologies to the Queen Mary (2005), At Mount Zoomer (2008), and Expo 86 (2010).
