The Strokes Announce New EP ‘Future Present Past’, Listen to It Now on Spotify
We thought it might have been a mirage when we walked by a video projected on Houston Street last night that flashed Future Present Past, but now we know that it is in fact an honest-to-goodness new EP from The Strokes. Officially announced earlier today, the EP is out June 3 via Julian Casablancas’ label Cult Records. But you don’t need to wait until then to check it out, it’s streaming now exclusively on Spotify (listen here) and you can find the track list below. It’s also available for pre-order here and the video we caught last night is up on their Facebook page.
Word of Future Present Past comes just a week in advance of their headlining appearance at Governors Ball on Randall’s Island. If you can’t make it out to see them there, the band recently announced a pre-Governors Ball gig at the Capitol Theater in Port Chester on Tuesday, May 31. Tickets for that show go on sale tomorrow at noon.
Future Present Past is the first new music from the band since the band’s 2013 LP Comedown Machine, which was released via RCA Records.
