As principal photography gets underway, Academy Award nominee® David Strathairn has signed on for Sacha Gervasi’s thriller November Criminals. The film, which is based on Sam Munson’s 2011 novel, is about a couple of teenagers investigating the murder of a friend and also stars Ansel Elgort (Insurgent), Chloë Grace Moretz (The Equalizer), and Catherine Keener (Capote).

Lotus Entertainment is producing, and Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions snatched up rights in English-speaking markets in January. The film is set to release in 2016.
