The countdown continues to the theatrical release of Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping. Last week, Andy Samberg went on The Voice as Conner4Real and mentored the top 9 finalists and performed the new single “I’m so Humble” with help from Adam Levine (see video below). And today, a new trailer dropped for the comedy that shows Conner getting into some rather hairy situations. You can check it out below.

Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping is a mockumentary from digital comedy shorts-meisters Andy Samberg, Akivia Schaffer and Jorma Taccone, who go by the moniker the Lonely Island. Starring Samberg as singer/rapper Conner4Real, the film pokes fun at the music industry and today’s celebrity culture.

In the latest trailer, we meet Conner’s best friend, a turtle named Maximus, and learn that his sophomore record is not doing as well as hoped. In an effort to boost his popularity, he turns to magic tricks and marriage proposal featuring a pack of wolves and a performance by Seal. Both don’t go exactly as expected.

Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping is directed by Schaffer and Taccone, written by Samberg, Schaffer, and Taccone, and produced by the Lonely Island, Judd Apatow, and Rodney Rothman. The film arrives in theaters June 3, 2016.
