Oh, Canada!: Ways to Celebrate Canada Day 2015 in New York City

148 years young, Canada celebrates its birthday on Wednesday. New York City had been hosting a huge party in Central Park with real-life Mounties, street hockey games, music and more, but due to a lack of sponsorship those festivities were kiboshed last year. However, don’t despair, there are still ways for New Yorkers to commemorate our friends from the Great White North’s big day. Below are a few options:

Canada Day/Patio Night
The event that is likely to be filled with the most revelers of Canadian descent is Canada Day/Patio Night. Your ticket buys you a complimentary drink, hors d’oeuvres and mingling with a genial lot. Cash bar is available throughout the night.
