A successful author and model, Lil BUB is now trying her paw at music. Her first album, Science & Magic, is due out this Friday (Dec 4) via Joyful Noise and she’s leaked one of its far-out tracks (listen below). Her furriness is also on tour promoting the record and will be in Brooklyn this week.

Made with the help of her main squeezer Mike Bridavsky, and her BUBbysitter Matt Tobey, the Internet-famous feline’s record is a joyous soundtrack to the universe. Andrew W.K., a longtime friend, fan and Lil BUB collaborator, described Science & Magic as being musically gratifying and remarked that it will take listeners to places beyond their imagination’s limits. “New Gravity,” the first track leaked, is a fine and trippy example of what the album has in store. A purrfect gift for animal lovers of all ages, 25% of the net profits from the sale of the record are being donated to Lil BUB’s Big FUND for the ASPCA to benefit special needs pets.

On Tuesday (Dec 1), Lil BUB will be at Rough Trade in Brooklyn to do a record signing meet and greet with fans. You can purchase tickets here. Admission includes a signed copy of the record, a limited edition art print of Lil BUB, a photo op, and a donation to two organizations that cater to animals in need (Badass Brooklyn Animal Rescue and Lil BUB’s Big FUND).
