The seven-headed Aussie psych-rock monster that is King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard are returning to New York this spring in support of their soon-to-be-released LP Nonagon Infinity. Their previously announced area shows, headlining Bowery Ballroom on Saturday May 14 and opening for Mac DeMarco at Webster Hall on May 15, are currently sold out, but a third has been added. The boys will be playing a late night set at Baby’s All Right on Saturday, May 14. Tickets are $15 and are on sale now over at Ticketfly.

Nonagon Infinity, which drops April 29, is the band’s follow up to the all-acoustic affair they released last year, Paper Mâché Dream Balloon. Plugging back in, Nonagon Infinity finds the band taking listeners into a neverending sonic k-hole. In the promotional materials it states that the band have “ingeniously crafted what may be the world’s first infinitely looping LP.” It goes on to explain that each of the nine tracks seamlessly flows into the next, with the final song joining back to the opener. King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard will be playing a few stateside gigs before pulling into New York. Their first stop is Levitation 2016 in Austin on May 1. For a complete list of their North American dates see below.
