Hope Sandoval & the Warm Inventions Shares Video for ‘Let Me Get There’ Feat. Kurt Vile
A few weeks back news came that Mazzy Starr’s Hope Sandoval enlisted Philly rocker Kurt Vile to sing on a new Hope Sandoval & The Warm Inventions track. The song, “Let Me Get There”, has since been released on 10” vinyl, and now has a video, which was shared earlier today on NPR Music. You can watch it below.
Directed by Sandoval, the video is in black-and-white and features busts, hand-made out of clay, mouthing the words to the song as they float through space. It’s quite otherworldly.
“Let Me Get There” is the second single shared off of Until The Hunter, Sandoval’s third album with musical partner Colm Ó Cíosóig (My Bloody Valentine). The record is due out November 4 via Sandoval’s label Tendril Tales, and is available for pre-order now at iTunes and Amazon. The track list, which also includes previously released “Isn’t It True”, can be found below.
If you’re just interested in getting your hands on the new single, it’s available now on vinyl with b-side “That Spider”, which is exclusive to the release. You can pick up on at Amazon.
