Food52 Holiday Market
Located in Union Square, the Food52 Holiday Market pop-up should be on every foodies’ dance card this season. It offers up exclusives and vintage goodies curated by the Food52 team, namely Amanda Hesser and Merrill Stubbs. Also on this storefront’s agenda are demonstrations, gift guidance, holiday movies accompanied by free popcorn, and more. Check the website for more details.

ADC Holiday Bazaar
The Art Directors Club, a nonprofit membership organization catering to the creative community, is throwing its first holiday market. Over 25 artists have signed on to sell original artwork and products at this festive shindig. If you’ve ever wanted a waffle in the shape of keyboard, you won’t want to miss this shopping event. David Zwirner Book Fair
David Zwirner, the contemporary art gallery that is home to such artists as Yayoi Kusama, Jordan Wolfson, and Raymond Pettibon, is reprising its holiday pop-up bookstore this month. Happening down the street from their 20th Street location, the shop will have selection of recent publications, posters, zines, and more available for purchase. Also, on Saturday, December 12, artist Lisa Yuskavage is stopping in for a special reception and book signing from 5-7pm.

Target Wonderland
Target plans to inject some fun into the holiday shopping season with a massive magical pop-up in the Meatpacking District. Entitled Target Wonderland, the outpost promises a playful kinetic environment that should appeal to both kids and adults alike. If you aren’t already familiar with the retailer’s interactive adventure story The Holiday Odyssey, we suggest clicking it out here now. Elements of the epic, such as the “S.S. Free Shipping” LEGO ship, are going to be brought to life at the store.

Billed as a short-term shop for long-term goods, Pop Up Flea is setting up stalls at Metropolitan Pavillon from December 11-13. Aperture Holiday Book Bazaar
Those in the market for art books should be sure to stop in at the Aperture Holiday Book Bazaar. In addition to titles published by Artbook/D.A.P., MACK, Conveyor Arts, and Yale University Press, among others, this all-day fair features giveaways, book signings with and more. While you’re there you can also peruse the 2015 Paris Photo-Aperture Foundation PhotoBook Awards Shortlist exhibition, as well as check out the work of the 2015 Portfolio Prize winner Drew Nikonowicz.
