Taking a little wind out of Coachella’s sails (who announced their lineup yesterday), Founders Entertainment today shared the lineup for the 2017 Governors Ball. The music festival, which is set to take place at Randall’s Island in New York City from Friday, June 2 through Sunday, June 4, will feature Tool (who will be playing their first NYC gig in 11 years), Chance the Rapper, Childish Gambino, Phoenix, Lorde, Beach House, Air, The Avalanches, Mac Demarco, Parquet Courts, Bleachers, Car Seat Headrest, and many more. Over 65 acts are expected to perform throughout the weekend. Governors Ball, which is now in its seventh year, has grown leaps and bounds from its humble beginnings as a festival with no overlapping sets. Purchased by Live Nation in 2016, Gov Ball has transformed into a destination festival, over the years playing host to such acts as Kanye West, Beck, My Morning Jacket, The Black Keys, Nas, OutKast, Vampire Weekend, Jack White, Tame Impala, Kings of Leon, Modest Mouse, The xx, Drake, The Strokes, The Lumineers, Guns N’ Roses, and Father John Misty.

In addition to a whopper of a musical lineup, the 2017 edition will also serve up food offerings curated by The Infatuation, an expanded selection of craft beer options, lawn games, mini golf, and street art. A new addition to the fest site will be a 21+ oasis area open to all 21+ ticket holders. Also, this year’s VIP areas will be 21+.
