It appears Ghost Team is hoping to catch some of wind off of Ghostbusters proton packs this summer, as the comedy-horror film is set to arrive in theaters August 12. In addition to a release date, the film also has a trailer and poster, both of which you can get a gander at below.

Ghost Team stars Jon Heder as Louis, a regular Joe who works in a local print-and-copy shop and has a thing for ghosts. When a customer comes in one day and starts spouting that there might be some paranormal activity taking place in an abandoned barn outside of town, Louis gets the bright idea to go on a ghost hunt. Enlisting a ragtag crew, Louis sets out to pull in some poltergeists. But, as you can see from the trailer, what they find is scarier than they ever imagined.

In addition to Heder, the cast includes David Krumholtz, Melonie Diaz, Paul W. Downs, Justin Long and Amy Sedaris. The film is directed by Oliver Irving, whose made his directorial debut with How to Be. Oliver Irving, Schuyler Weiss, Alex Sagalchik, and Jukie Christeas serve as producers.

Ghost Team debuts exclusively on Google Play July 21 and arrives in theaters Friday, August 12 via The Orchard. It expands to additional on demand platforms later this summer.
