Back at the end of December, Force Field PR announced that they were throwing a couple of shindigs in Los Angeles and New York to celebrate their 10th Anniversary. Today, they shared the lineups for those shows. The fete in New York, which takes place at Baby’s All Right on March 3, features Lou Barlow*, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, The Blow, Guerrilla Toss, a DJ set by Neon Indian, a surprise special guest performer, and guest DJs in the front room. As for LA, the March 12 show at the Echo & Echoplex finds an eclectic group that includes Lightning Bolt, Wax Idols, Sonny & the Sunsets, Dent May, La Sera, Terry Malts, Frankie Rose, Jimmy Whispers, DUBLAB DJs, and DJ Kid Frostbite. Founded by Daniel Gill in 2006, Force Field PR is a Los Angeles-based boutique publicity firm with an excellent reputation for discovering and cultivating new artists. Among the bands they have worked with include Beach House, Real Estate, St. Vincent, Sufjan Stevens and Dirty Projectors.

Lou Barlow, who is on the top of New York City bill, is currently touring in support of Brace the Wave, his first solo album in six years released in September via Joyful Noise. You can find the video for single “Nerve” off the album below.

Legendary duo Lightning Bolt headline the LA show. They released their first album in five years in 2015, Fantasy Empire. It received universal acclaim. You can listen to “The Metal East” off the record below. La Sera, who is also playing the LA show, have a new album dropping on March 4 via Polyvinyl. Entitled Music For Listening to Music to, the record was produced by Ryan Adams. You can watch the first music video off the album below.
