Adapting to our coronavirus times, the Museum Mile Festival goes virtual for 2020. Eight New York City museums will take part in the day-long event with live and pre-recorded programs, exhibition tours, musical performances, and more streamed via their websites and social media channels.
This year’s participants include The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Neue Galerie New York, Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, Cooper Hewitt, The Jewish Museum, Museum of the City of New York, El Museo del Barrio, and The Africa Center.
Among the highlights of Museum Mile Festival 2020 are Museo del Barrio’s The Artists, The Jewish Museum’s panel with Rachel Feinstein on the occasion of her exhibit, Maiden, Mother, Crone, and a virtual tour of Neue Galerie’s Madame d’Ora.
