In honor of what would have been Prince’s 58th birthday on June 7, Spike Lee and rapper Sway Calloway are teaming up to throw the late musician a massive birthday party. And, if it’s anything like the annual birthday parties that Lee has been throwing for Michael Jackson since his death, it should be a quite the affair. DJs Kim Lightfoot and Timmy Richardson have been tapped to do the music, and the afternoon will feature a Special Hot Thang & Sexy Muthafucka Dance Off (you may want to leave the kids at home). The festivities are free to attend, and the recommended attire is purple, of course.
