Watch Eric Andre Talk ‘Bad Trip’ & Prank Beyoncé Fans on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’
It was elbow greetings, funny anecdotes, safe words, and pranks earlier this evening when Eric Andre was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Eric went on the show to promote his new hidden-camera prank movie, Bad Trip, which will have its world premiere next weekend at the SXSW Film Festival which will no longer be premiering at SXSW because the festival has been canceled. After talking up the film, Jimmy Kimmel went to a tape of a hilarious prank Eric played on Beyoncé Fans, Beyoncé or BeAndré. You can watch Eric’s appearance on the show below.
Bad Trip’s world premiere is one of the events still standing after several companies pulled out of SXSW is now postponed. In the film, Eric transverses America looking for the girl of his dreams and doing pranks along the way. Tiffany Haddish, Lil Rel Howery, and Michaela Conlin also star. The film arrives in theaters on April 24.
As for Eric’s prank on Beyoncé fans, it finds him dressing up as the Queen B and surprising fans who are recording messages for the entertainer. Just as they are telling Beyoncé how much they love her, Eric emerges. At first, fans are convinced it’s her, but then reality sets in. It’s not Beyoncé, it’s BeAndré.

Later this year, Eric has another film coming out. He’s one of the voices heard in the Phil Lord and Christopher Miller-produced animated feature Connected. Eric plays some Silicon Valley mogul. You can watch the trailer below. It arrives in theaters on September 18.
