Capsule Film Review: Bully
We don’t want to twist your arm, but we encourage you to see Lee Hirsh’s heart-wrenching documentary about bullying in America. Focusing on the stories of five kids and their families — from Alex, the Sioux City 12-year-old whose day is filled with constant torment, to Tuttle, Oklahoma teen Kelby, who has been ostracized due to her sexual orientation — Bully presents different ways this crisis manifests in small towns across the country. An issue with sometimes deadly consequences, the Weinstein’s embattled PG-13-rated pic serves as a conversation starter rather than a solution supplier.

Bully is a The Weinstein Company release.
