Bushwick Open Studios 2015: Event & Art Picks
Bushwick is going to be more insane than usual this weekend thanks to Bushwick Open Studios 2015. Not in its 9th year, the three-day fete is the largest open studios event in New York City and finds upwards of 450 artists welcoming strangers into their work spaces and homes. Additionally, the weekend features gallery exhibitions, bands, block parties, and art-inspired ragers that go to the wee hours.
The Arts in Bushwick folks have put together a printed guide that is available at official BOS hubs and there is also a online directory you can search. A mind-boggling amount of things are happening, so we’ve gone ahead and put together a few recommendations, all are free to attend. Hopefully this list will come in handy as you chart your BOS 2015 course.
