Beirut Shares New Song ‘Gibraltar’ (Video)
With less than a month until the release of No No No, Beirut have shared a new song “Gibraltar”. The song’s leak comes by way of a trash-filled video, which you can view below.
Directed by Brother Willis, who was also responsible for the group’s “No No No” video, the visual finds band leader Zach Condon, along with mates Paul Collins and Nick Petree, on a desolate island filled with trash that is floating out in the Pacific. The trio find themselves gravitating, along with pieces of garbage, to a fantastical “rock” that appears to either welcome them or swallow them whole.
No No No is set for release September 11 via 4AD. It was recorded over a two week period in New York amid a barrage of snow storms. The record can be preordered now at 4AD Store, Amazon, iTunes, and Google Play.
