Here’s a sausage fest we can get on board with. Hosted by quarterly food journal Lucky Peach, this hog-wild happening is in honor of the release of The Wurst of Lucky Peach, a book that showcases the best in wurst from around the world. The event serves up a sausage-making demonstration by Jocelyn Guest & Erika Nakamura of Salvation Burger, along with a Q&A featuring Ivan Orkin (Ivan Ramen) and Starlee Kine (This American Life), moderated by Lucky Peach editor-in-chief Chris Ying. After you’ve been schooled in sausage, guests can chow down on hot dogs and Tiger beer, which is available first-come, first-served. Admission includes food, drinks, a copy of The Wurst of Lucky Peach, as well as a one-year subscription to Lucky Peach.
