Giorgio Moroder Waxes Poetic About Sam Smith, Sky Ferreira & More For ‘What’s in My Bag?’
Disco pioneer Giorgio Moroder is featured in Amoeba Music’s latest installment of What’s in My Bag?. The Italian record producer reveals his fondness for Lady Gaga, Sam Smith, and Sky Ferreira, among others, and forecasts a Swedish music invasion. You can watch the segment below.
At 75 years young, Moroder still has that spark and continues to make music. Last year, after a 23-year hiatus, he released studio album Déjà Vu. And, during his What’s in My Bag? segment, he mentions that he is working on a project with Lady Gaga Born This Way producer Fernando Garibay. Moroder also still makes the club rounds. His next scheduled gig is July 11 at Olympia Bruno Coquatrix in Paris. Tickets are available here.
