Music lovers may want to up and move to Australia after taking a gander at the official trailer for Triple J’s Hottest 100. Featuring Courtney Barnett, Mumford and Sons, Tame Impala, TV on the Radio, Ice Cube, Mark Ronson, and many more, the action-packed video parodies Hollywood film trailers and finds two detectives working on a case involving the disappearance of musicians from around the country. From watching the trailer, you can see that Triple J takes their Hottest 100 reader’s poll very seriously. Each year, the government-funded Aussie radio station invites listeners to vote for their favorite songs. The station then does a countdown on Australia Day (January 26), which in that part of the world is the middle of summer. Voting is open from now until January 22, 2016.
